Every time I travel, I realize just how limited the dedicate gluten free options are in Boston. Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of spots that try to be celiac friendly, but it’s just not the same as walking into a store where everything is gluten free.
In Copenhagen there are two gluten free restaurants right next to each other- 42 Raw and Palæo. While Palæo was my favorite for meals, I liked the smoothies from 42 Raw. Palæo uses avocado to thicken their smoothies, which isn’t really my style, whereas 42 raw uses bananas.
I also tried a marzipan treat. At which point in time I learned that I don’t like marzipan. However, my sister told me it was pretty good if I actually enjoyed marzipan, and the (dairy free!) chocolate coating was tasty.
I didn’t actually eat a full meal here. However I took loads of pictures to share with you of other people’s meals while they were eating so you can get a sense of the restaurant. While raw food may not be your favorite, it’s definitely a worthwhile place BECAUSE I’m sure you’ll find something you like between here and Paleo and they’re right next door to each other.
Hope that gave you a brief overview of 42 Raw. Can’t wait to show you more spots in Copenhagen soon!!
