I have been to both lunch and dinner at 8100 Mountainside, and it’s in my top two places to dine in Beaver Creek! 8100 is the only restaurant where I feel comfortable walking in without calling ahead. They ensure that you never feel as though you’re imposing and are strict about cross-contamination. On the bottom of their menu it reads: “Please notify the server if you have food allergies or require special food preparation and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.” Each time we return, the first waiter to accommodate me, always stops by and says “hello” even if he’s not serving us!
Plus, the food is absolutely delicious. Before being gluten free my favorite appetizer was the bacon-wrapped asparagus, which they are still able to make for me. For my meal today, I had a modified version of the baby greens salad, which had fresh beets and blood oranges. Then, for my entrée I had the beef fillet. Unfortunately, I cannot eat the typical sides or dressing, so they added bacon-wrapped asparagus (an appetizer) and a special vegetable medley containing potatoes, tomatoes, and onions to my meal. Frequently, I find that modified meals lack presentation; however, this meal looked as though it was on the menu!
