Happy Magical Monday!
We’ve been focusing on the fancy food aboard the boat, off the boat, and even those few things you probably need to pack with you as an allergy friendly diner. (I forgot to tell you to pack mini salad dressing packets, but that’s always a good idea too.) But, what about all the included food that comes with your cruise?!
Aboard the Fantasy, you’ll rotate around three restaurants: Royal Court, Enchanted Garden, and Animator’s Palate. Flashback ten years to my last Disney Cruise, and Animator’s Palate was my favorite aboard the Wonder. I was more than excited to be returning again!
The first night at Animator’s Palate was very cool. Crush, the turtle from Finding Nemo, floated around the room (via the television monitor) and talked to you! He even managed to get families with similar interests waving to each other from across the room. But, as a child who loved animation, it wasn’t the same type of magic I remembered.
Then, we came back for our second dinner, and all the magic was up my alley… Animator’s Style. First, we all became animators, and then you’ll have to watch the video below to see what happened next!
With Just a Touch of Pixie Dust…
I was in awe at such an amazing attraction incorporated into dining experience. Plus, since only the drawings from your section of the dining room appear on the monitor closest to you, you’re bound to see your creation many times throughout the film!
We’ll be talking about the food at each restaurant next week. However, here’s a sneak peek because allergy friendly food is part of what makes Animator’s Palate so magical!
Have you been to Animator’s Palate before?! What creation would you draw?
I hope y’all have a magical week!
P.S: While there is an Animator’s Palate aboard the other Disney Cruise ships, they all have a different activity. This post is about an experience aboard the Disney Fantasy (August 2014).
P.P.S: Filming was completed by my sister, Brianna. Thanks, Bri!
